PRP with microneedling

Platelet rich plasma is rich in growth factors. When PRP is used along with microneedling its penetration is increased into skin through these microchannels. Growth factors present in PRP stimulate better healing of microholes made during microneedling and leads to better scar treatment and facial rejuvenation.

LASER HAIR REDUCTION

HOW LASER WORKS

Laser fires a concentrated beam of light, which is specifically absorbed by melanin pigment in your hair follicles. This leads to heat production in hair follicles, leading to its destruction.

PERMANENT HAIR REDUCTION VS PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL

Permanent hair removal is a misnomer because laser treatments will permanently reduce the total number of hair but they will not result in a permanent removal of all hair. So permanent hair reduction is right term to be used.

SIDE EFFECTS OF LASER HAIR REDUCTION

The modern lasers are usually safe when performed under guidance of a experienced dermatologist. However, some minor side effects may occur after laser hair removal treatments in the form of itching, redness, and swelling around the treatment area. These side effects are usually self-limiting and don’t need any medication.
A detailed medical history followed by a clinical examination is a must so as to first ascertain the cause of unwanted hair growth. If you have excess hair growth over face and body with or without irregular periods, acne or hair loss it can mean hormonal abnormality and you might need to get hormonal tests done before laser.
